Scandinavian design is famous for its clean design aesthetic. Design that balances simplicity and organic shape, with form and everyday practical function, while being respectful and sympathetic to the environment.
Founded in 1853, the Morsø foundry has deep roots in design and has been in family homes for generations. In New Zealand, you may know Morsø more for their premium outdoor wood and pizza ovens. Drawing on their experience in forging metals and innovative spirit, Morsø designed a kitchen knife collection to deliver function, versatility, and handsome design.
As one would expect, the Foresta cheese knife set is an impressive set of three (3) knives with strong steel blades and oiled oak handles. Perfectly weighted, they are ideal for all cheese styles (soft, medium, hard). Beyond cheese, they are a versatile tool for the kitchen.
Made from FSC® certified oak, the handles will develop a patina and will become more beautiful the longer the knives are used. Shaped from one piece of wood, the knives sit comfortably in the hand.
The set includes three knives:

About Morsø
In 1853, a young blacksmith named N.A. Christiansen established his foundry on Mors Island in the North of Denmark and aptly named his company MORSØ. The original product range comprised a wealth of different products – from stable windows, memorial crosses, and tools to pots and pans.
In 2012, Morsø launched the Italian-inspired pizza oven, the Morsø Forno, which became a milestone in Morsø's journey from being best known as a ”woodburner manufacturer” to being a sterling lifestyle trademark of a coherent concept that provides a scenery of new life, new opportunities and experiences on terraces, in gardens and patios. In tandem with this, Morsø launched an entirely new series of design products comprising kitchenware, vases and candleholders which together with the outdoor collection present the picture of Morsø as we know it today.
